Planning a move in Tampa Bay? Before buying cardboard moving boxes, consider renting reusable plastic moving totes from TurtleTotes! Even when just comparing the straight cost of boxes to totes, the totes are already less costly. Add on tape and the hassle of assembling and breaking down the cardboard boxes, and the gap only widens. You technically CAN source free cardboard boxes, and while saving delivery boxes, asking friends and family to save theirs, or scrounging through dumpsters may save you money, you are still spending your time... And your time is valuable. Reusable moving tote rentals offer a convenient alternative for house moves, apartment moves, and office relocations. With TurtleTotes not only can you save money, you can save time and hassle as well.
How much does moving tote rental cost as opposed to cardboard?
Take a look at your local stores and see what cardboard boxes cost. Boxes of an equivalent size to our totes are anywhere from about $5.50 for the flimsy light duty products to $9 each for heavy duty models. If you were to buy 60 boxes at $5.50 each, that's already $330 before buying any tape. If a hard plastic tote is a tougher product, AND you can save over $60 on those same 60 boxes, AND they are delivered and picked up, TurtleTotes is a no-brainer for your next move.
TurtleTotes offers the following rental packages throughout Pasco, Hernando, Pinellas, and Hillsborough Counties:
- 20 totes: $109
- 40 totes: $199
- 60 totes: $279
- 80 totes: $349
Packages include delivery and pickup, plus one Tote Taxi for every 20 totes. Our standard rental period is 14 days, with extensions available for a small fee.
